Roles and Responsibilities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading and providing direction to the sales support team. Key functions of the team include tasks related to daily customer service operations and tasks related to the coordination and implementation of new business closed by the sales team, and the management of the post-sale process for new business start-up. Working with senior ABS leadership, Business Development Executives (BDEs), Sales Support, and ABS Operations team members, this role will support price quoting, contract creation, and new business onboarding.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Finance to create compelling customer-facing price quotes that reflect the ABS Value Proposition and win the business. Track quotes, wins and losses, revisions, and other metrics in CRM.
- Based upon the negotiated pricing and terms, work with Business Development to craft the final contract to secure the business. Ensure proper contract documentation and execution processes are followed.
- Create and process all required documents from quote generation through customer start-up to ensure the timely start-up of new business.
- Plan and coordinate the new customer onboarding process with the Business Development Executives, customer support, internal operations, finance, and other ABS staff to ensure a great customer experience.
- Setting up new customers and coordinate new business implementation with various departments and collection of all required documentation from appropriate sources.
Work with internal ABS departments to include the following:
- Defining the scope of work with Business Development
- Communicate the scope of work to internal departments
- Ensure the scheduling and consistency of customer projects are timely, within scope, and consistent with standard work
- With internal function partners, communicate weekly summarized progress reports.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
- Create and coordinate all sales orders and purchase orders related to each project.
- Maintain Shipping/logistics of each ongoing project:
- Maintain Supplies List, Validation Supplies, Equipment set-ups and any other supplies
- Oversee Sales Support operations pertaining to daily customer service operations and account management including:
- Customer service functions including handling or directing incoming phone calls and conducting customer surveys.
- Inquiries from customer and staff.
- Ensuring sales support personnel present a professional image and foster good customer relations.
- Coordination of logistics of outgoing and incoming instruments.
- The set up and administrative functions of setting up new customers.
- Assisting Finance with the completion of CPS Monthly Collection and tracking in databases.
- The processing and shipping of customer orders and drop ship orders as needed.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in sales operations, account management support, and/or project management (i.e. price quotations, contracting support, project coordination/management,
- Demonstrated competence with MS Suite, MS Teams a must. Prior experience in NetSuite CRM, MS Smart Sheets a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of providing proactive, excellent customer experiences
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team setting
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in a related field
- At least five years customer service, sales operations, and/or project coordination experience

Roles and Responsibilities
The LCMS Lab Technician position works under direct supervision to learn the proper handling of all specimens received at ABS Labs and ultimately prepares specimens for laboratory confirmation following the compliant guidelines set by all governing laboratory bodies.
The position includes such functions as:
- Follow the laboratory's approved SOP for sample handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.
- Ability to prepare stocks solutions, calibration standards, and quality control samples.
- Extracting and analyzing urine and oral fluid samples for toxicology screening and confirmation testing following the lab’s approved standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Utilize established protocols to confirm retention time, precursor and product ions, and qualifier ions are within established ranges for peak qualification and note any discrepancies.
- Identify patient samples requiring re-injections or re-extractions.
- Perform maintenance on LC-MS/MS, HPLC and other laboratory duties when needed.
- Uploading completed data analysis to the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or immediately notify the lab manager
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and Lab’s safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines.
- Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities and procedural calibrations and all maintenance performed.
- Assist in proficiency testing, monitoring of daily controls, and be responsible for operating within the established quality controls parameters, including the recognition of invalid data and bringing all errors to the supervisor’s attention
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and well-organized work environment
- Participate in team-oriented projects for the development and implementation of new testing methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Help with documentation, inventory, and other laboratory administrative duties
- Participates in all departmental training programs, continuing education and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Competency Requirements:
- Degree in science-related field with a minimum of 18 hours of chemistry credits.
- 1-2+ years laboratory experience preferred.
- LCMS experience required.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction.
- Familiarity with laboratory practices and compliance in a cannabis setting.

The position includes such functions as matching client information, data entry, opening and receiving samples, quality control, updating missing information, placing courier requests, sample counts, partitioning, and scanning documents.

Organizational Description:
Specialty Testing Solutions Oklahoma (STSO) is an ISO Accredited laboratory specializing in cannabis testing. STSO offers’ clients a complete range of services including full COA and R&D testing, correlation reporting, and priority services.
STSO is looking for employees who want to grow in their knowledge of a cannabis laboratory, can foster a team environment, while conducting themselves professionally and ethically.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPosition summary:
This position will report to the Director of Scientific Operations and Lab Director, working under formal supervision. This individual is provided authority to implement and administer laboratory policies, analytical methods and procedures described in the scope of responsibilities. Individual may set pace of work as long as it meets pre-determined deadlines and may train others to perform assigned tasks.
General Requirements:
- Install & maintain any equipment associated with microbial testing
- Write & maintain SOPs associated with microbial testing to ISO standards
- Responsible for all data and analysis of microbial testing in the lab
- Responsible for making sure proper safety/hazard/sanitizing protocols are enforced in microbial area
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent micro-pipetting skills
- Experience with PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, or other modern microbiology technology, Pathogen DX experience a plus
- ISO 17025;2017 experience a plus
- Excellent analytical thinking skills
- Good understanding of the principles of qPCR
- Strong leadership skills
- Troubleshoot instrumentation-beginner level
- Must possess skills on qPCR for production
- Must have some laboratory experience and become familiar with cannabis compliance as required by state OMMA, FDA, and GLP and ISO/IEC 17025;2017 requirements
- Must have some laboratory experience
- Must understand workflow, turnaround times, and streamlined approaches
- Must have some research and development skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
- Implementation of validation protocols
- Work with vendors to order supplies
- Take direction from management
- Be organized and prepared
- Understand and meet timelines
- Assists in documentation and maintenance of corrective action programs
- Participates in all departmental training programs and practices
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and well-organized work environment
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
- Adhere to laboratory compliance practices
- Provide updates on scientific team progress as well as manage own development and timelines
- Provide scientific support to team
- Scientific writing for reporting, data management reporting, and standard operating procedures a must. All data must be approved by the laboratory director before final submission
- Be current with all regulatory cannabis compliance
- Adaptable to fast-pace changes
Competency Requirements:
- B.S in microbiology or biochemistry with focus on PCR
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and well-organized work environment
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
- Adhere to laboratory compliance practices
Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus as well as work on a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to communicate verbally with customers, vendors and employees on the phone or in person.
