Job purpose
A Sampler establishes the chain of custody of products sampled between the customer and the laboratory, to ensure the sampling takes place using appropriate methods, clean tools, and protective wear.
Shift available
7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure the area is as clean and free from contaminants and filth as possible and sanitize tools;
- Obtain both primary and duplicate samples from each batch;
- Assign a unique sample identifier to each sample and sample increment;
- Follow chain-of-custody protocols to ensure that sample integrity is such that it may be maintained from point of collection to receipt of samples at the laboratory;
- Wear proper personal equipment items during the entire sampling process;
- Properly store and handle samples;
- Properly record in the Sample Field Log;
- Sample Unpackaged Harvest Batches and Medical Cannabis Goods;
- Complete the Sampler Training Requirements;
- Package samples in tamper-proof packaging;
- Transport tamper-proof packaging to the Laboratory;
- Randomly select samples for testing using the appropriate procedures;
- Enter order with required sample information into the laboratory's LIMs system;
- Responsible for developing positive customer relationships;
- Perform other duties as requested.

- Must be trained by the CMTL (Certified Marijuana Testing Laboratory) on the minimum requirements for sampling and the Standard Operating Procedures for sampling and security.
- Proof of an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task, effectively manage changing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaborate effectively on projects and tasks with supervisor and co-workers.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Laboratory Assistant is primarily responsible for but not limited to sample organization & disposal, glassware, labeling, temperatures & transferring. The Laboratory Assistant will perform day-to-day assignments and tasks within the laboratory cycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with peers to ensure alignment on processing plans by means of effective planning and communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process samples which includes but is not limited , weighing, labeling, incubating, prepping and transferring samples as well as, instruments operation, scale preparation and calibration.
- Process Cannabis and Hemp samples
- Sample and document verification
- Clean sample receptacles/ glassware/ dishes (daily)
- Sample disposal (regular disposal of all sample types daily)
- Maintain the cleanliness and sterility in the production area, which includes routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment.
- Use, maintain and operate equipment in the facility.
- Ensure compliance with the state, security protocols, access protocols, and dress code.
- Lift, carry, or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Result review and documentation
- Sanitize laboratory areas
- Support intake, pre-processing and analytical processes
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, word, etc...)
- Relevant experience, training or education or other related work.
- Experience with sample preparation and pre-processing.
- Operate with integrity and honesty.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
- Accuracy and consistency while weighing products.
- Must have the ability to focus on a task for long periods of time.
- The employee must have basic organizational capabilities, as well as be able to run basic computer tasks.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and basic algebra knowledge for units of conversion which apply to chemistry

- Customize and evaluate COA’s for completeness and accuracy
- Create and provide documents needed for audits

Job purpose
The Pre-Processing Coordinator is responsible for preparing and weighing samples for testing. The Pre-Processing Coordinator will handle the day-to-day weighing of cannabis, hemp/cbd products, which includes but is not limited to edibles, flowers/buds, and derivative products.
Duties and responsibilities
- Weighing samples, labeling sample vials, cutting samples as needed, placing samples in appropriate vials, cleaning processing areas, and verifying tests requested by the client.
- Accurately weighing and recording all weights.
- Organizing/sanitizing sample storage areas.
- Communicates with Team Leads and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks.
- Learning and following standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, equipment maintenance, create batch files, transfer samples.
- Complying with all regulations as they relate to processing operations.
- Upholding all standards and procedures pertaining to facility cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.

· Preferred candidates who have experience using HPLC, GC, GC-MS and prior experience testing cannabis products in the workplace.
Responsibilities
· Intake and process cannabis batches
· Performs care and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment according to both the manufacturers' recommendations and internal SOP's. Assist the laboratory in the routine inventory and stocking of consumable supplies so that the laboratory is never out of supplies.
· Reviews and prepares accurate sample results
· Assists with training of new employees
· Performs and maintains documentation to comply with laboratory requirements
· Reviews, maintains and assists in updating internal SOP. Collects & records QC data or other similar data. Participates in QA processes, accordingly.
· Practices and actively participates in laboratory safety
· Meets annual training requirements
· Preparation of mobile phases, stock solutions, standards and controls and other reagents
· Tunes, calibrates, evaluates instrumentation daily before use
· Performsadministrativeduties and additional responsibilities, as assigned
Education
· All Laboratory Analysts must have, at a minimum, a bachelors' degree in natural, or environmental sciences or hold a current certification as a Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
YOU MUST HAVE LABORATORY WORKING EXPERIENCE
Hours: Rotating schedules and weekends are required.
Shifts starting from 12:00- 8:00 pm. This position requires working a full shift every Saturday and taking off one day during the week. A rotating shift schedule is also required- you must be flexible.

Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is communication with clients and intaking cannabis samples.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s expectations and preferences in order to serve as a knowledgeable client advocate and ensure tailored execution
- Answering phones/ call screening.
- Establish and maintain contacts at the highest level of decision-making authority within client organizations.
- Manage and prioritize all opportunities to enhance client relationships and accelerate the decision making process that will grow revenue through increased utilization.
- Strategize with client account leads on a weekly basis on all opportunities to ensure solutions are being effectively sold; accurately forecast respective opportunities based upon realistic assessments.
- Collaborate with management team to develop a strategic and tactical plan to achieve the desired annual revenue targets.
- Work with client sales support, product management and business development to complete requests for proposals/information in a timely, accurate and professional manner. This includes leading a strategic planning initiative.
- Effectively implement and nurture clients to ensure optimal deal performance and success for ACS's customers.
- Provide knowledge to customers about our services
- Lead in-house presentations and site visits to prepare for and conduct client, and executive site visit/presentations.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of the sales process and product and service value propositions.
