Purpose:
405 Smoke’s Cannabis Operations Managers purpose is to be good at managing multiple operations and handling multiple employee teams. A manger should be able to run their processing, store, and grow operations to the best of their ability and be able to help the company grow in every way possible. The Cannabis Operations Manager will oversee employees at the dispensary location, processing facility and grow facility. The Operations Manager must be great at communication with employee and superiors to ensure an effective work environment at each location.
We are looking for disciplined cannabis enthusiasts with big ideas and a forward-thinking mind set. To help us with the day-to-day operations of a vertical integrated cannabis business.
Objective:
The objective of a manager is to build an excellent team and to lead by example and display all of the standards expected of every employee. Managers must be able to provide feedback to employees, guide employees in the right direction in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in a manufacturing operations related discipline. Degrees in other disciplines in conjunction with suitable experience and accomplishment will be considered.
· Manager are required to cover any shift if you are the last resort when someone calls in.
· Must be flexible on work location and hours.
· Customer obsessed mentality.
· Master communicator written and verbal.
· 2+ year retail management experience.
· Work with staff on creating and maintaining a schedule that is fit for everyone employed.
· Manage and organize employee disciplinary forms. Know when instances should be escalated to superiors.
· Ensure your store is adequately staffed within budget.
· OMMA Compliance:
o You know the regulation like the back of your hand and find creative ways to work with in the limitations.
o Maintain a complaint work environment at all times for employees and customers.
· Strong math skills and the ability to count money confidently.
· Superior product knowledge:
o Maintain in depth knowledge of all products in store and in brand and to strive to learn about products and pass on information to other staff.
· Exceptional customer service. Win over customer and be an example to all staff members on how to interact with customers. Communicate with customers on what new products they would like to see in the store.
· Candidate must embody professionalism at all times during their employment and be a guide on how to act to the rest of the staff.
· Responsible candidate must hold a great deal of responsibility to thrive in this role.
Daily oversight will include:
· Processing operations

Your Days will look like this:
· Cash management and reconciliation of:
o Cash pickups
o Change requests
o Employee tills
o Vendor Payments
o Bank deposits
· Addressing employee gaps in product knowledge, service, and customer fall-off points will be critical. You will relay challenges, customer feedback on a weekly/daily basis with suggestions of improvement to superiors.
· Maintain a constant level of communication between shift leads in order to track monthly and weekly goals.
· Coordinate sales incentives and promotions across various departments to ensure smooth roll outs.
· Maintain our digital menus on products to keep a constant up to date menu available to customers.
· Maintain appearance standards of the sales floor by keeping it stocked, organized, and merchandised.
· Schedule staff product training sessions.
· Manage cannabis and non-cannabis inventory. To always keep products in stock at all locations.
· Direct small staff meetings during down time. To motivate and point out things to staff and also to address and direct shift leads to resolve issues as they arise.
· Ensure supplies and products are reported for reordering when at low levels to maintain a constant flow of high demand products and supplies and to help designate which are not in high demand.
· Maintain store selling floor cleanliness, back room organization, visual presentation and safety standards at all times.
· Uphold inventory control to minimize loss with a weekly inventory count and comply with product waste procedures and vendor delivery procedures.
· Through the point-of-sale system ensure each customer has a complete profile.
· Oversee creating of a product line.
· Ordering labels, boxes, and all supplies needed for processing.
Physical work Demands:
· Willingness to travel to vendors locations and multiple business locations.
· Willingness to work on holidays.
· Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
· Be able to stand for long periods of time.
