Job Description:
The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is recruiting for an Accounting and Financial Operations Manager (Accounting Manager 2) to set a strategic, streamlined direction for policy, operations, and analytics for the agency and the Financial Services staff This includes the production of monthly financial statements and reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to ensure that all reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and State of Oregonâs Accounting Manual (OAM).
While this recruitment is an internal and external opportunity, internal OLCC applicants will be given preference during the application review process.
Who are we?
The OLCC is the agency responsible for regulating the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in Oregon by administering the state's Liquor Control Act and regulating the production, processing and sale of recreational marijuana in Oregon through the Control, Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana and Industrial Hemp Act. The agency also regulates the production, processing and sale of medical products sold to Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) cardholders in OLCC licensed marijuana retail shops.
The agency is comprised of four major operational programs; the Distilled Spirits Program, the Recreational Marijuana Program, the Public Safety Program and the Medical Marijuana Program. All four programs are supported by the Administration, Financial Services, and Support Services divisions. Revenue generated from these programs helps support state and local government programs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee co-man relationships, planning, scheduling, sourcing, production and reporting of all aspects of Consumables Operations for multiple states
- Oversee and own all parts of the manufacturing workflow
- Report on performance to key collaborators and leadership
- Schedule and set agendas for regular external co-man meetings
- Lead and drive Quarterly Business Review with co-man (in partnership with Consumable Ops Director)
- Communicate with team members within Consumable Ops, Commercial and Cross-Functionally and ensuring that deliverables and milestones are met on schedule
- Preparing for and attending regular Sales & Operations Planning meetings
- Monitor, track and report on Finished Goods, WIP, and raw materials inventories by SKU
- Commercialization of new products in the marketplace - launching new SKUs and products on-time and on-spec as outline by Product Requirements Documentation (PRD)
- Oversee all components of BOM for each product from dry goods (packaging, cases, labels) to THC inputs
- Supervise state specific supply chain partners by providing timeline forecast guidance; issue POs via co-man to execute supply plan to meet production goals set by Demand Planners
- Assist with writing and enforcing PAX SOPs, optimizing workflows with Co-man
- On-board and train Co-mans on Pax SOPs
- Monitor sales orders, deliveries, transactions with Transporter service, troubleshoot issues that may arise
- Source/Order equipment and coordinate shipment, arrival, storage and step up with Co-man
- Problem-solve collaboratively to allow the Pax brand to thrive
- Assist Finance/Accounting teams with review, auditing, reconciling invoices from external partners
- Engage with GM/Sales team to troubleshoot and/or support driving sales performance in the retail channel
- Support any needs from cross-functional teams - marketing, legal/compliance, executive, GSM on requests from co-man facility
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years manufacturing operations experience
- Cannabis experience a plus
- 4 year degree preferred

Temple Hill Collective, Inc. (THCI) is hiring a full-time operations and compliance manager for our cannabis product manufacturing facility.
THCI is a cannabis product manufacturer based in Orange, MA. We operate an independent cannabis manufacturing facility that produces cannabis products for sale at licensed cannabis dispensaries throughout the state of MA.
We are looking for a compliance and operations manager to assist with the following duties:
- Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and a team of 15+ production associates with a strong emphasis on maintaining efficient and compliant operations.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate production planning, raw material procurement, compliance monitoring, and tracking, staffing levels and scheduling, and all additional tasks required to maintain an efficient and compliant manner of operations.
- Work with COO to ensure all SOPs are being adhered to at all times by registered agents, visitors, and any other vendors while on-site.
- Stay current with all state-mandated laws and regulations, and make changes to operating protocols and SOPs in order to maintain state compliance at all times.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop/implement corrective action plans for the resolution of potential issues.
- Conduct and manage internal audits to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and accuracy of all required reports, documentation, and equipment.
- Maintain strong working relationships with management, accounts, vendors, and state regulatory officials.
- Respond to management requests and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate the transportation, security, and compliance protocols surrounding the logistics and successful delivery of products.
- Comply with any additional operational and compliance tasks as requested by management.
Additional Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience working in a compliance and operations role within a CCC licensed facility.
- Ability to pass a Massachusetts mandated background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to comply with daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, and non-slip shoes, as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Market (Florida) Manager, Operations Communications will serve as a central "traffic-control" expert on the operational, sales, marketing, retail, HR, IT and any other tactical communications needed for execution of all Florida-focused initiatives. In partnership with Florida operations teams, the role will support, develop align and deploy business communications to Florida operations, sales, retail, customer care, production, and distribution team members. This role will focus heavily on the execution of internal marketing and retail communications and serves as the Florida operations communications point of contact / single source of knowledge to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment to defined objectives.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with Retail Operations and Retail Experience teams to ensure the smooth deployment of operations, marketing and promotional initiatives across all channels to ensure that Florida market frontline and retail associates have the information and resources they need to execute successful sales and marketing initiatives.
- Develops, maintains and deploys market communications materials, ensuring appropriate review and approvals, including but not limited to internal product/brand launch, promotion, and discount materials; talking points and customer care center scripts; and visual merchandising.
- Works with market support teams - including Retail, Sales, Customer Care, Marketing and Training and Project Managers - to develop and continuously improve the communications tools and guidelines associates need to successfully execute on Florida market initiatives.
- Manages and maintains the Florida operations and retail communications calendar, and align it with central Enterprise communications calendar, to include product launch, promotions, store opening and events and initiatives and ensure an appropriate cadence of all market communications to prevent retail teams from being overloaded with stacked administrative (e.g., HR, IT) communications during critical revenue-driving initiatives.
- Creates and maintains a Florida Retail Communications Guidelines that outlines best practices to ensure a consistent market communications formats, tone, language, process that is aligned with the broader Parallel and Surterra Wellness brand and communications guidelines.
- Works with the Florida Training Team to optimize the retail and operations training messaging and process-based feedback garnered from Florida field teams.
- Manages the retail communications and task management tool (Zip Line).
- Plans, sources, writes and distributes content targeted to Florida-based associates and teams, including the weekly newsletter "The Blend" and for Parallel's company platform Workplace.
- Plans, prepares and moderates Market President listening sessions and market webinars.
- Drafts and distributes in-market communications for Market President, including Florida team updates, change and new process announcements, operational documents, and surveys.
- Provides tactical pull-through of Enterprise Corporate Communications strategies, plans, campaigns and content related to company-wide priorities and initiatives to the market.
- Serves as an on-the-ground, Florida market communications partner to execute on change management and issues communications within a structured process led by the Market President and Enterprise Corporate Communications; helps identify and escalate market-specific issues that require strategic internal and external communications.
- Reviews Enterprise Corporate Communications to ensure Florida market data accuracy and Market President tone and voice.
- Supports the drafting of Florida policy and media statements, in close coordination with Enterprise Corporate Communications (PR), Government Relations and Compliance/Legal.
- Serves as a member of the cross-functional Enterprise Communications Team and participates in weekly team calls to align Florida communications content and execution with Enterprise Corporate Communications team initiatives.

Job Summary
The Co-Manager of Operations is responsible for managing and holding the operations team accountable for policy and procedure, compliance, ingestion and all other operational objectives of MedMen store operations. This position leads a team that implements and continuously improves all accuracy, training and execution of operational initiatives.
Job Functions

Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly through the store team.
Work with cross-divisional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives, goals and operational plan.
Ensure store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores.
Ensure operations team achieves store's shrink goal.
Establish and implement operational policies, standards and procedures for retail staff.
Ensures compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within retail stores.
Communicates, works closely and successfully collaborates with other Co-Managers to achieve the organization's goals.
Partner with the MedMen Human Resources team in the following HR functions:
Interview, recruit and hire to fill gaps in open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume tier.
Train managers and employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP's, compliance audits, MMM and policy and procedures.
Set up training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training is complete.
Ensure continuous training and development with team members through modules, quizzes, tracking and video content that results in consistency across all stores.
Write and deliver on team members' performance in partnership with GM to determine succession plans and build bench strength.
Performance manage and coach team members on poor performance and violation of company and compliance policies in partnership of GM and HRBP.
Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the store.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum 2 years of experience supervising training, quality and customer service in retail.
Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with significant P&L responsibility
Strong knowledge of retail technology platforms and systems
Must possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures used to develop strategies designed to improve the business
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or operations management or related field
Store Management experience.
Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market a huge plus.
Dispensary-related experience a plus.Provide exemplary customer service and represent the business with pride.
Supervisory Responsibility
This person is directly responsible for managing the operations team.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional retail setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires a flex schedule, long hours, nights, weekend work and holiday availability.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
