Job Description
Several top cannabis companies in Pinconning MI are looking for Packager/De-leafing Associates and Cannabis Packagers. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with some of the biggest brands in the cannabis space while gaining invaluable experience in the growing cannabis industry!
Overview
The De-leafing/Packager is primarily responsible for the order, cleanliness, and efficiency of production operations by performing general labor work duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently washes growing medium
- Properly grinds and tracks plant matter for disposal
- Neatly places and/or transfers plants into net pots and buckets
- Handle, mix, and apply pesticides in a manner that is compliant with all WPS, CDA, EPA, and MED rules and regulations
- Responsible for maintaining and upholding the quality of all manufactured products
- Responsible for harvesting plants in preparation for processing
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the production space
- De-leafing and bagging the Cannabis product
- Packages and labels cannabis product when finished
Experience
- Cannabis experience is required (3 months or more)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to individually move objects up to 35 lbs in all directions
- Must be able to perform labor-intensive job duties
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in extreme environments including, but not limited to; low and/or high temperatures, outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind, noisy environments, small and/or enclosed spaces
