We are currently seeking a hard-working manager's assistant to join our fast growing cannabis production company. This individual will speak, read, and write both English and Spanish fluently. The primary job will be to assist the farm manager with communication to all employees, interviewing and hiring new team members, as well as assisting with a variety of reporting documents and traceability programs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with Farm Manager for key priorities to communicate to Spanish speaking team members
- Assist with interviewing and new hire paperwork for all new hires
- Assist with training and verbal follow up to Spanish speaking team members
- Translate documents from English to Spanish for company
- Ensure all farm practices are accurately being reported in the state traceability system with close partnership with Farm Manager
- Assist Farm Manager with any other projects and assignments as needed, with flexibility and open-mindedness

Farm Manager needed for Large Licensed Cannabis Farm

We are a licensed and established Cannabis Company seeking a full time farm manager for our new cultivation campus in Ordway, CO. The Farm Manager will manage day to day operations of a large scale, outdoor and greenhouse commercial cannabis cultivation operation. You must be a current Colorado resident and currently posses or be able to obtain an Occupational License issued by the Colorado Department of Revenue, Marijuana Enforcement Division.
Responsibilities for this position include:
*Direct and oversee employee activities for all operations including propagation, planting, cultivating, irrigation, harvesting, product processing, production and record keeping.
*Ensure adherence to compliance and safety regulations according to Colorado and company standards.
*Plan and direct operations for optimum success and maximum crop production
*Plan operations based on factors such as crop maturity, weather conditions, pest mitigation etc.
*Inspect crops for Insects, disease and general health.
*Inspect crops, prepare reports and pre-harvest estimates for all crops
*Be responsible for all supply and equipment purchasing.
*Work with the owners to establish and maintain a working budget
*Maintain records for production rates,management practices, compliance reporting, and prepare financial and operational reports.
*Maintain financial, operational, and employment records
*Hire, train and supervise employees engaged in planting, cultivating, irrigating, harvesting and production and processing.
*Enforce compliance, safety and company policies
Candidate requirements:
*An extensive background and education in management, horticulture, botany, agronomy, soil science or related fields.
*7-10 years experience cultivating in a large-scale commercial, production environment. Experience cultivating in the Colorado cannabis industry is also preferred.
*Extensive farm or agricultural experience.
*Previous experience managing large teams.
*Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, cultivating, handeling and harvesting products for consumption.
*Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
*Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
*Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation and production methods
*Ability to monitor, oversee and control company resources to include coordination of people and resources
*Ability to plan and organize specific objectives and prioritize
*Ability to store, record and maintain information in electronic and written form
*Ability to analyze data and problem solve efficiently
*Ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot and problem solve. Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate resolutions, review related information to evaluate options and implement solutions.
The starting salary for this position is dependent on education, experience and skills.

We are looking for an experienced manager to be the general manager of our cannabis farm in the Hood River Valley.
Responsibilities include:
Managing a team of 8-12 people.Managing and scheduling all labor, construction, maintenance, and crop production of 25 light deprivation greenhouses (50,000 sq. Ft of canopy).Experienced in efficiently managing a team of this size. Extensive cannabis experience is not mandatory. Our head grower will be on site daily to make all decisions regarding growing the plants. Your job is to organize the team and complete the tasks laid out by our head grower.
Requirements:
Reliable, responsible, organized, productive, hard working, and efficient, with good time management skills, and attention to detail. Must be able to effectively manage and lead a labor force. We are looking for someone who has a proven history of effective management and leadership, and who knows how to motivate, manage and lead a labor force by example.
Preferred but not required Experience:
Construction or Farm Management experience.Bilingual Spanish speakers are a major plus.Cannabis experience is a plus but not necessary.
