Overview:
This individual is responsible for assisting all customers and patrons in an outgoing and friendly manner in making their educated purchases in accordance with the Vermont Cannabis Control Board, Vermont State Regulations and Magic Mann’s Organizational Policies. He/she/they will ensure that product information and qualities are accurate and that excellent and positive customer service standards are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting transactions and processing payments for Purchases
- Weighing of any flower products and proper packaging
- including cash, credit card, check, or debit card transactions
- Verifying IDs prior to sales transaction - to ensure that only 21+ years or older are purchasing
- Knowledge of Cannabis
- Ability to provide customers with necessary product knowledge
- Strains, Effects, Terpenes
- Ability to recommend proper products for customers based off of information given to you

The Budtender Position
The entry level position at Enlighten is a dual-role position including sales and production projects. Entry level employees rotate between these two roles as needed.
Budtenders make up our front of house retail sales team. While fulfilling this role, budtenders aid customers in our retail store and help them select a suitable cannabis product to fit their needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
- Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.

Cannabis Educators are the face of High Society Everett. As the primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating an exceptional customer experience through unparalleled service and outstanding knowledge. While you will be executing essential retail functions, such as cash handling, cleaning, and up-selling, your role is ultimately to ensure first-time customers become regulars who tell their friends and family about the benefits of shopping with High Society Everett.
