The E-Learning Developer interacts directly with Subject Matter Experts to design and build innovative and engaging E-Learning courses for delivery to the online platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages professionals from highly recognized cannabis companies to become Subject Matter Experts for course programs.
- Designs and develops innovative materials and engages E-Learning to meet learning objectives for course programs.
- Develops scripts, storyboards, videos, and audio files in line with business requirements and guidelines.
- Works collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts to obtain requirements and details needed for creation and testing of course contents.
- Set up and test E-Learning courses in the online platform and assign to users as instructed.

Cannabis Community College recently launched a community network and we are growing our class, workshop, and webinar offerings exponentially. We are recruiting for 1 Director, 1 Editorial Assistant, dozens of Educators, and hundreds of Contributors. Below is more information on Cannabis Community College and the positions available:
1) The E-Developer:
Reporting to the CEO, the E-Learning Developer is responsible for creating online learning materials for external students/customers. The E-Learning Developer interacts directly with Subject Matter Experts to design and build innovative and engaging E-Learning courses for delivery to the online platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages professionals from highly recognized cannabis companies to become Subject Matter Experts for course programs.
- Designs and develops innovative materials and engages E-Learning to meet learning objectives for course programs.
- Develops scripts, storyboards, videos, and audio files in line with business requirements and guidelines.
- Works collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts to obtain requirements and details needed for creation and testing of course contents.
- Set up and test E-Learning courses in the online platform and assign to users as instructed.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Effective organization and project planning skills.
- Creativity in the instructional design of courses to meet business and learner’s needs.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and preferably Spanish also
2) Editorial Assistant
You will assist with proofreading articles, educator documents and public-facing materials and helping to support the day-to-day operations of the Editorial team. As part of the team, you will support the development of plain language communications that help people understand and navigate the intricacies of the cannabis industry in a manner that makes it fun to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform copyedits and pre-delivery checks on Educator, Contributor and public facing educational materials.
- Apply industry best practices and ensure the appropriate components are included to satisfy applicable regulatory requirements for any given communication.
- Ensure that CCC materials are clear and accurate, consistent in style and content, and that they maintain the highest quality standards across the organization’s communications.
- Assist with updating Topic templates and terminology glossaries.
- Create and organize Editorial workload reports.
- Keep the master monthly and yearly editorial calendars up to date.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year full-time paid work experience (or equivalent) in editorial/journalism.
Preferred Skills:
- Think creatively and contribute to the overall department goals.
- Multi-task and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
3) Educators:
Cannabis Community College is seeking industry professionals to teach their experience and knowledge on our platform. Courses are offered anywhere from free up to several thousand dollars depending on the content, involvement time and the educator’s credentials. Cannabis education can cover any area of cannabis expertise. This is a fee per class including commission position.
4) Contributors (Ambassadors & Diplomats):
We are looking for cannabis experts to join CCC’s Global Cannabis Industry Networking Group to represent the voice of the cannabis industry in their part of the world. We are including diplomats and ambassadors from all the legal countries including countries close to legalization. Contributors are paid for their time on our monthly panels and given commission for all sales that come through their affiliate link.
