The Budtender's main function is to facilitate sales to customers of the provisioning center. - Budtenders will report directly to and be under the supervision of the dispensary General Manager and any of specified members of the management team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales and delivering highest quality customer experience
- Greeting customers when entering the provisioning center
- Remaining compliant with established policies and procedures both for internal and state compliance
- Ability to provide cannabis product knowledge along with essential benefits and uses of each product

Highlite Group is the sister company to Highlite Staffing, a cannabis industry staffing company, headquartered in Las Vegas which is expanding into Missouri. We have hired, trained and staffed several hundred Nevada residents to help them start or expand their careers in cannabis. Kansas City is home to our company CEO who is excited to expand our services to newly legalized Missouri. Our Missouri office is actually in Overland Park, KS just 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City, MO but the facilities we are staffing are throughout Missouri (primarily Kansas City, MO area and St Louis area). We are staffing jobs for dispensary, cultivation, production kitchen, extraction lab, testing lab and distribution.
We currently have positions for over 300 new hires for jobs that include: Dispensary GM, manager, buyer, inventory specialist, compliance officer, budtenders, security, cultivation assistant, post harvest, trimming, production lead, production assistant, extraction specialists, lab coordinator, packaging, delivery driver and quality control (NO, quality control doesn't mean you get to try the products...lol).

Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee agent duties for cannabis sale
- Coordinate with professional staff as medicinal cannabis caregiver
- Implement SOPs for all required processes
- Preparation of inventory display and cash sales proficient
- Execution of cannabis sales in accordance with state and local standards
- Ensure consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, and equipment.
- Operating, maintaining, cleaning and making adjustments to scales and/or prep inventory for sale.
- Storing supplies and equipment and disposal of waste according to guidelines
- Maintaining safety data sheets for products
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand cannabis benefits/requirements
- Establish and document protocol, reports, and records
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Enforce health and safety precautions.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- MMCC Licensed Agent in Maryland or Eligible (See finfgerprints, background check, drug test, MMCC website)
- 2+ years of experience with retail sales- health care field or cannabis preferred; adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures, preferably a regulated field producing cannabis-infused, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products.
- Experience with cannabis strains and terpenes;
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of customer care/ cash register/ POS software;
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Ability to use and understand production and inventory control software and standard office software such as spreadsheets, e-mail and word processors
- Must be able to individually lift up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
- EDUCATION
- High School graduate required; CPR a plus; Licensed Driver

The Dispensing Agent is responsible for fulfilling orders behind the retail counter and issuing pre- packaged products that have been purchased to Patients. The Dispensing Agents must have a complete understanding of the use, side effects and medicine used to treat common disease states and must also demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Dispensing Agents will be given the task of preparing, dispensing, distributing, and administering cannabis-based medications under the direct supervision of the Dispensary Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizes cannabis-based medications to dispense; calculating quantities; preparing patient labels.
- Stores and maintains inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Entering patient and order information into the point-of-sale system; processing payment; finalizing patient orders.
- Responsible for inventory and cash reconciliation procedures.
- Perform new patient consultations as needed.
- Maintain compliances with the Medical Use of Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum two years of administrative customer relations/customer service experience; experience in the retail & health industry a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally in person, over the telephone, through email and other electronic means.
- Excellent computer proficiency/ working within a point-of-sale computer system.
- Requires excellent customer/patient service skills
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move about the dispensary, handle various types of media and equipment, and visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
- The ability to operate a point-of-sale computer system and cash register proficiently
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
