POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) consults large commercial growers to scale their production in the most cost effective and sustainable way, using Phylos’ genetics, high performing seeds and cultivation expertise. Position Summary:
The Cultivation Supervisor for our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility will be responsible for supporting the Cultivation Manager in developing, implementing and managing 100,000 sq. ft. of indoor grow. The incumbent will be responsible for daily operations in cultivation including processes and procedures within propagation, vegetation, flowering, and the harvest phases. The Cultivation Supervisor will lead and manage employees, ensuring that the Company is in full compliance with all state and local regulations, production needs are met, and any procedural problems are addressed and resolved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivation
- In support of the Cultivation Manager and General Manager, work to establish production goals and ensure that they are met.
- Implement and adhere to cultivation schedules by consulting vegetative plant inventories daily to ensure that sufficient numbers of healthy plants are being prepared for the flower process.
- Enforce adherence to fertilization, irrigation, and feed schedules developed by operations leadership.
- Ensure the needs of the plants are being met regarding illumination, irrigation, nutrients, pruning and plant maintenance, and pest and disease control.
- Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation, including but not limited to; transplanting, pruning, defoliating, watering and feeding, and harvesting.
- Supervise plant germination and propagation through cloning efforts.
- Schedule harvest of plants based on cultivation schedule and plant maturation.
- Ensure that product leaving the facility does so in a manner compliant with all relevant regulations and meets all standards established by the state of Michigan.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in METRC, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately.
Growing Procedures
- In support of the Cultivation Manager, develop and update SOPs for cultivation processes, enforcing strict adherence throughout the facility.
- Develop informational tools to monitor production and all factors that influence production on a batch-by-batch basis, as well as a room-by-room basis.
- Develop and implement nutritional regimens and IPM systems.
- Perform regular quality assurance checks of plants and post-harvest plant materials.
- Update SOPs in identifying and addressing plant-specific issues, environmental issues and climate control, and coordinating the harvesting of plants.
- Assist with calculating production yields and determining areas of improvement for each harvest.
- Facilitate and oversee inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits.
- Conduct investigations when necessary if inventory does not match production and transfer records, or if standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultivation and post-harvest processes are not followed.
- Monitor stock of cultivation and post-harvest supplies and equipment, and work with the METRC, Inventory, and Purchasing Manager to order replacement supplies and equipment when necessary.

Cannabis Cultivation Assistant Manager
WhiteCloud Botanicals, located in Wells Nevada, is one of the most technologically advanced cannabis cultivation facilities in North America. WhiteCloud is looking for a strong cannabis cultivation expert who will be responsible for producing the highest quality cannabis in Nevada.
The Cultivation Assistant Manager will work with the Facility Cultivation Manager to effectively co-manage the facility and employees to maintain production schedules, consistently achieve deadlines and to follow all state cannabis regulations and compliance guidelines.
Duties
- Grow the best cannabis possible!
- Manage all aspects of cultivation including genetics, maintaining healthy mother stock, plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, grow plans, nutrition, pest management and remediation, harvesting, state compliance software (Metrc) etc
- Effectively co-manage a team of 15+ individuals.
- Guarantee the facility operates on schedule including all aspects of personnel supervision, task management, ordering, facility maintenance, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Candidates located in Nevada or Western US preferred
- Candidate MUST have no prior felonies and obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Marijuana Establishment Agent Card.
- Truly have a deep passion and understanding of all aspects of cannabis cultivation on a commercial level.
- 2-3 years’ experience in commercial cannabis cultivation required
- Strong technical skills for facility operations to maintain a consistent and healthy growth environment (Dosatron fertigation, C02, RO water, LED grow lights, etc)
- Excellent interpersonal communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy: must effectively be able to use Metrc, internet, word processing and spreadsheet programs and be able to learn new programs as required.
- Extremely organized, punctual and detail oriented
- Candidate must be able to lift 50+ lbs. work in warm and possibly humid conditions.
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as required.

We are a licensed cultivation facility that focuses in cannabis, located in the Pacoima, Los Angeles Area. Our cultivation is currently operating and in the process of expanding. We are looking for an experienced Cultivation Manager who is interested in growing with our company and managing a small cultivation team which will increase as construction progresses. Summary/Objective
The Cultivation Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the cultivation and management of all plants including, but not limited to, mothers, clones, vegetative stage plants, flowering plants, and drying plants. The Cultivation Manager oversees and participates in activities related to the care and maintenance of the cultivation by allocating tasks, directly supervising employees, job scheduling, and quality control. Additionally, the Cultivation Manager is responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and reviewing employees.
Essential Functions
- Provides daily direction and communication to grow technicians to complete daily tasks.

- Controls cultivation environments in several rooms to maintain optimal conditions for plant growth.

Work Environment
The Cultivation Manager operates in an environment of living organisms. Successful operation involves maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace. The Cultivation Manager will routinely use growing equipment such as water pumps, reservoirs, hoses, propagation equipment (trays, inserts, and domes), pitchers, scales, nutrients, general office supplies, gloves, and technology necessary to job function. The cultivation operates on a five-day rotating schedule.
Schedule
The nature and scope of the Cultivation Manager requires open availability. This is a full-time position with days and hours varying according to operational needs.
Physical Demands
The Cultivation Manager must be deemed physically fit to successfully perform necessary functions of the position. This includes standing for up to 8 hours, walking, squatting, climbing, crawling, reaching, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
Experience/Education
Experience in a management position is required, including direct supervision of 5 or more employees.
3+ years of experience growing cannabis in a large production environment.

Position Summary:
The Cultivation Manager for our Adrian, Michigan facility will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cultivation and packaging activities. The facility currently has 60,000 sq. ft. of canopy in high-tech greenhouses and will be growing to 150,000 sq ft. This hands-on position will be responsible for daily operations in cultivation including processes and procedures within the propagation, vegetation, and flowering phases to produce a consistently high-quality final product. The Cultivation Manager will lead and manage employees, ensuring that production needs are met, that the Company is in full compliance with all state and local regulations, and that any procedural problems are addressed and resolved. He/she will establish and analyze reports on current practices, adjusting workflow, procedures, and/or product usage to increase yields, efficiency, and performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivation
- Implement and adhere to cultivation schedules by consulting vegetative plant inventories daily to ensure that sufficient numbers of healthy plants are being prepared for the flower process.
- Enforce adherence to fertilization, irrigation, and feed schedules developed by operations leadership.
- Ensure the needs of the plants are being met regarding illumination, irrigation, nutrients, pruning and plant maintenance, and pest and disease control.
- Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation, including but not limited to; transplanting, pruning, defoliating, watering and feeding, and harvesting.
- Manage plant germination and propagation through cloning efforts.
- Schedule harvest of plants based on cultivation schedule and plant maturation.
- Ensure that product is compliant with all relevant regulations and meets all standards established by the state of Michigan.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in METRC, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately.
Growing Procedures
- Develop and update SOPs for cultivation and post-harvest processes, enforcing strict adherence throughout the facility.
- Develop informational tools to monitor production and all factors that influence production on a batch-by-batch basis, as well as a room-by-room basis.
- Develop and implement nutritional regimens and IPM systems.
- Perform regular quality assurance checks of plants and post-harvest plant materials.
- Update SOPs for identifying and addressing plant-specific issues, environmental issues and climate control, and coordinating the harvesting of plants.
- Assist with calculating production yields and determining areas of improvement for each harvest.
- Facilitate and oversee inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits.
- Conduct investigations when necessary if inventory does not match production and transfer records, or if standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultivation and post-harvest processes are not followed.
- Monitor stock of cultivation supplies and equipment, and work with the Inventory, and Purchasing Manager to order replacement supplies and equipment when necessary.
Reporting
- Prepare and present reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Create reports summarizing harvest yields and the conditions that affect yield in a positive or negative way.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory through analysis of inventory reports.
- Assist with preparation of operating budgets as required.
- Oversee tracking compliance in METRC for plants and harvested materials.
Facilities Management

- Supervise and coordinate Cultivation Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring proper scheduling of staff with adequate coverage to address cultivation needs.
- Manage the performance of Cultivation Supervisors and Technicians, conducting regular employee performance evaluations on an annual basis.
- Coordinate harvest times ensuring good communications with Harvest and Post-Harvest teams.
- Track and report the efficiency of cultivation, post-harvest, and packaging staff, developing and implementing methods to improve efficiency when possible.
- Perform employee trainings for Cultivation Technicians at the time of on-boarding and anytime that a procedure is adjusted or implemented.
- Recommend adjustments in team structure to improve efficiency and profitability.

Required and Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Biology strongly preferred.
- 3+ years experience as a cultivator in a large-scale cannabis operation – 25,000 sq. ft. or more is required.

The Quality Control Specialist provides direct support to the Cultivation Managers, focusing on ensuring proper plant health and plant care. Overview

The Cultivation Manager will provide oversight of all Cultivation Associates and ensure that the facility is safe and compliant with OSHA, MED and state regulations at all times. Additionally, the Cultivation Manager is responsible for ensuring all company policies are upheld and all company-provided standard operating procedures are adhered to.
The Cultivation Manager and works closely with the Lab Manager, Post Harvest Manager, and Dispensary Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effective supervision of cultivation staff using clear communication and frequent constructive feedback; display knowledge, leadership and guidance to all cultivation employees
- Hire, train and schedule all labor tasks for all cultivation employees
- Write, update and train staff all Cultivation SOP’s
- Understand and follow all safety protocols, compliance and SOPS
- Ensure all grow and manufacturing procedures are executed properly and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Direct the Assistant Cultivation Manager to assist with production and scheduling of all cultivation duties, including planning from all stages and aspects of growth
- Maintain the efficiency of all necessary steps and procedures of cultivation and addresses any issues of which may arise, with the support of the Assistant Cultivation Manager
- Maintain and monitor all plants and plant health throughout every stage for plants in the facility
- Oversee that proper plant counts, tracking information for inventory and facility compliance is upheld
- Train all new employees and managers on proper and preferred plant care techniques
- Identify and correct all plant-related problems and/or deficiencies
- Ensure all weighing of product and recording of data is accurate
- Ensure all cultivation procedures are executed properly
- Ensure cultivation facility is consistently stocked with appropriate supplies
- Maintain and enforce an organized, hazard free and clean working environment.
- Perform plant care techniques, including super-cropping, topping, skirting, de fanning and weaving
- Oversee & maintain all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease

Qualifications
- A BS in botany, horticulture, agriculture or related field of study
- Experience in horticulture, crop management, cultivation mechanical systems, plumbing; including irrigation systems, and electric.
- At least five years of relevant work experience in a hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production facility is desired.
- Understand and be able to oversee and manage all production cycles in large-scale agriculture.
- Strong computer skills for data entry is required.

Assistant Cultivation Manager - Adrian, Michigan

Position Summary:
The Assistant Cultivation Manager for our Adrian, Michigan facility will be responsible for supporting the Cultivation Manager in developing, implementing and managing 60,000 sq. ft. of grow. The incumbent will be responsible for daily operations in cultivation including processes and procedures within propagation, vegetation, flowering, and the harvest phases. The Assistant Cultivation Manager will lead and manage employees, ensuring that the Company is in full compliance with all state and local regulations, production needs are met, and any procedural problems are addressed and resolved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivation
In support of the Cultivation Manager and General Manager, work to establish production goals and ensure that they are met.
Implement and adhere to cultivation schedules by consulting vegetative plant inventories daily to ensure that sufficient numbers of healthy plants are being prepared for the flower process.
Enforce adherence to fertilization, irrigation, and feed schedules developed by operations leadership.
Ensure the needs of the plants are being met regarding illumination, irrigation, nutrients, pruning and plant maintenance, and pest and disease control.
Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation, including but not limited to; transplanting, pruning, defoliating, watering and feeding, and harvesting.
Manage plant germination and propagation through cloning efforts.
Schedule harvest of plants based on cultivation schedule and plant maturation.
Oversee the harvesting, drying, and curing of medical marijuana.
Ensure that product leaving the facility does so in a manner compliant with all relevant regulations and meets all standards established by the state of Michigan.
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in METRC, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately.
Growing Procedures
In support of the Cultivation Manager, develop and update SOPs for cultivation and post-harvest processes, enforcing strict adherence throughout the facility.
Develop informational tools to monitor production and all factors that influence production on a batch-by-batch basis, as well as a room-by-room basis.
Develop and implement nutritional regimens and IPM systems.
Perform regular quality assurance checks of plants and post-harvest plant materials.
Update SOPs in identifying and addressing plant-specific issues, environmental issues and climate control, and coordinating the harvesting of plants.
Assist with calculating production yields and determining areas of improvement for each harvest.
Facilitate and oversee inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits.
Conduct investigations when necessary if inventory does not match production and transfer records, or if standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultivation and post-harvest processes are not followed.
Monitor stock of cultivation and post-harvest supplies and equipment, and work with the METRC, Inventory, and Purchasing Manager to order replacement supplies and equipment when necessary.
Reporting
Prepare and present reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Create reports summarizing harvest yields and the conditions that affect yield in a positive or negative way.
Ensure accuracy of inventory through analysis of inventory reports.
Assist with preparation of operating budgets as required.
Oversee tracking compliance in METRC for plants and harvested materials.
Facilities Management
Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
Monitor all environmental systems in the grow facility in Adrian.
Maintain functionality of equipment and facility, making minor repairs as needed and spearheading larger repairs and equipment replacement.
Personnel Management/Training
Supervise and coordinate Cultivation Technicians, ensuring proper scheduling of staff with adequate coverage to address cultivation needs.
Manage the performance of cultivation and post-harvest employees and technicians, conducting regular employee performance evaluations on an annual basis.
Coordinate harvest times ensuring harvests are adequately staffed.
Track and report the efficiency of cultivation and post-harvest staff, developing and implementing methods to improve efficiency when possible.
Perform employee trainings for Cultivation Technicians at the time of on-boarding and anytime that a procedure is adjusted or implemented.
Recommend adjustments in team structure to improve efficiency and profitability.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma required.
Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or other relevant field strongly preferred.
3+ years experience as a cultivator in a large-scale cannabis or horticultural operation – 75,000 sq. ft. or more.
In-depth knowledge of plant strains, plant structure, and plant health.
Knowledge of uses and benefits of cannabinoids.
Knowledge of relevant regulations is a plus.
